I've been working with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History in the Katrina Grant program in the Biloxi Field Office of MDAH since this past January. I visited New Orleans for the July 4th celebrations with my partner Wynn from Cheshire, Connecticut. I have become a member of the Mississippi Chapter of the American Planning Association and am on the chapter's conference committee. We are currently planning the agenda and sessions for the annual conference, October 22 and 23 in northern Mississippi. Next will be conference preparation work for the national conference in New Orleans in the spring.
I've also started a foundation for the promotion of economic redevelopment throughout the Gulf Coast. (See the web site at gulfcoastalliance.org )
We'll have to plan a visit sometime soon. Let me know what you've been doing since Columbia and how your architectural and preservation work is going.
I joined DOCOMOMO US the other day, am I automatically a New Olreans chapter member or do I need to do something in addition? I have worked with Wayne in the past on projects, not sure if we have met.
Hey Toni,
Hope you've been doing well since I saw you in January! I have some questions for you regarding potential thesis topics. If you get a chance, I'd love to chat with you. I'm going to be in New Orleans the 19th through the 22nd, will you be around?
-Lindsay
Hey Toni,
So glad to get in touch with you. We (Culinarycorps) would love to learn a little bit about the modern architecture there in New Orleans. We usually do all food related activities, which is great, but also so nice to get in other sights of the city. We will be there June 1st -6th. We have a pretty jammed pack schedule but was hoping to fill in the morning of the 2nd- any suggestions?
Thanks and look forward to hearing from you, Annie

Hi Toni,
Great meeting you this weekend! A group of volunteer chefs heading to NOLA is interested in a modern architecture tour...any ideas to point them in the right direction?! Can I have my friend (who is helping lead the trip) contact you?
